In July 2007 the Ingenious Live VCTs invested £1 million in the new London-based Underage and Field Day Festivals.
Field Day festival has carved out a name for itself as an event in which to spot the latest up-and-coming talent. Over the years, leading artists such as Florence and the Machine and Mumford and Sons have all played at Field Day before making their big break. Field Day attracted over 24,000 music lovers in 2011 to witness stellar performances by a host of indie/alternative artists.
2012’s Field Day festival is expected to once again sell out. This year’s line-up features artists including Franz Ferdinand, Metronomy, Afrocubism, Beirut and The Vaccines.
