Creamfields
In July 2008 the Ingenious Live VCTs joined forces with world famous dance promoter Cream to invest £1.7 million in a company co-promoting the second day of Creamfields, a two day music festival in Daresbury, Cheshire. Creamfields has been one of the most successful investments made by Ingenious Live VCTs since 2008 and by 2011, due to its increasing popularity the event has grown to encompass three days.
Held over the 2011 August bank holiday weekend, the festival was attended by a sell out audience of 100,000.
The event's line up included some of the most successful Dance DJs in the world, and was broadcast live on Radio One, with interviews by Vernon Kay. Artists included Chemical Brothers, Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto and David Guetta.
In 2011 Creamfields was awarded ‘Best Dance Event’ at the prestigious UK Festival Awards for the second year running.
Creamfields is now arguably established as the world’s leading dance festival, and is the only music festival concept to be successfully exported globally with events staged in over 15 countries worldwide.
Since the launch of the Creamfields partnerships in 2008, attendance figures and investment returns have increased steadily year on year. Both Ingenious and Cream remain extremely positive about the future prospects for the brand.
