Creamfields|
Creamfields is the biggest and most celebrated dance festival in the UK. Having won countless awards, and constantly growing in size, Creamfields has been one of the most successful investments made by the Ingenious Live VCTs since 2008. Fifteen Creamfields events will have taken place world-wide by the end of 2011, fully endorsing the VCTs' brand extension strategy.
Rewind|
Rewind has been one of the most impressive new investments made by the Ingenious Live and Entertainment VCTs in recent years. Since its launch in 2008, the event has consistently increased its attendance and profitability year on year. Given its success, a second festival was launched in Scotland in 2011 and an Australian license was granted, increasing the growing international presence of the Rewind brand.
Underage and Field Day|
Underage and Field Day festivals in Victoria Park in London have continued to grow in both size and profitability since their launch in 2007. Today, the events are recognised as leading brands in the festival arena and are fully endorsed by some of the biggest names in the industry. Underage, for example, is a unique event for 13 to 17 year-olds only and is extensively covered by BBC Radio One.
Golf Live|
Golf Live is a three day interactive golf event, which in 2011, was staged at The London Golf Club. European Ryder Cup-winning captain, Colin Montgomerie, led a star-studded line-up that included a host of major champions and top professionals such as Darren Clarke, Ian Woosnam, Retief Goosen, and Michael Campbell. The event represents a creative way of bringing the Sports and Exhibition markets together; the longer term aim is to roll out the brand to other prestigious golf courses around the world.
Taste of Christmas|
Taste of Christmas is a four-day, experiential food event at ExCeL, London. In 2010 over 26,000 people enjoyed the food, wine and spirit tasting, live demonstration theatres and cookery seminars. Taste of Christmas 2010 was a huge success with top chefs including Heston Blumenthal, Antony Worrall Thompson and Jean-Christophe Novelli sharing their kitchen secrets.
Taste Festivals|
The London event attracted over 40,000 visitors to Regents Park in June 2011, its eighth year. The Taste Festivals are successful premium outdoor food and wine events featuring a number of famous chefs including Gary Rhodes and Antony Worrall Thompson who serve up their signature dishes for the public to taste. The festivals are currently held in twelve different locations around the world including Cape Town, Sydney and Dubai. Taste of Christmas is our Christmas version of this brand which is achieving positive returns after only three years.
Let's Dance |
Let’s Dance is a successful TV format commissioned by the BBC for Sport Relief since 2008. In 2011 it took the prime time Saturday night slot on BBC One, attracting over eight million viewers. Following the ratings success of the UK series, the 'Let’s Dance' format has been sold and aired in a number of different countries including Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden, Russia, Slovakia and Indonesia, underlining the international reach of the VCTs.
Scarborough Open Air Theatre|
Scarborough Open Air Theatre, the largest open air theatre venue in Europe, was opened by Her Majesty the Queen in 2010. Since then, the venue has played host to a number of sell-out performances including by Sir Elton John (which sold out in a record-breaking three hours), Jose Carreras and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa as well as other major shows such as Last Night of the Proms and popular chart stars N-Dubz. Ingenious and its partner, Apollo believe that the venue has a very exciting future.
