Live VCTs 1 & 2
The Ingenious Live VCTs Share offers closed at the end of July 2007, raising over £18 million to invest in the live entertainment sector. It was one of the largest specialist VCT funds launched in the 2006/7 tax year.
The Ingenious Live VCTs invested in the live events sector targeting concerts, festivals, exhibitions, sporting events and theatrical productions. The investments sought to benefit from the significant growth taking place in the UK live events market, a sector where household spending continues to increase.
The twin structure of the Ingenious Live VCTs provides greater flexibility, by allowing co-investment of up to £2 million in any one investee company. The Ingenious Live VCTs are now closed, having fully invested their funds.
