Funds raised through the Ingenious Entertainment VCTs D Share offer are currently making a number of investments primarily in the live events sector.
Titans of Cricket takes the best of Twenty20, the IPL and World Cricket and combines them in a new show that highlights the skills of some of the worlds top cricketing stars both past and present, including Freddie Flintoff and Virander Sehwag. The first events are scheduled to take place at the MEN arena in Manchester, the NIA in Birmingham and the O2 in London in October 2011.
Venn Music was launched to promote a range of new music festivals. These innovative events are managed by Venn Director Matt Priest, who was an executive at Radio One for ten years. Shakedown Festival, held in Brighton, attracted over 18,000 people with a lineup including Dizzie Rascal, Professor Green and Chase and Status.
Sound City is an international music, media and technology conference and live arts and music festival. The Sound City brand has held events in Liverpool, New York, Abu Dhabi and Tromso, Norway. In 2012, artists included Professor Green, The Temper Trap, Space, Kids in Glass Houses, Death in Vegas and The Wedding Present.
Love Supreme Jazz Festival is a collaboration between the VCTs, Jazz FM and Neapolitan Music to stage the UK’s first open-air 3 day Jazz festival. This event is scheduled to take place in the summer of 2013 and will feature a wide range of international artists from this genre. Ingenious is confident that the directors have the experience and contacts to ensure that this festival is set to become a permanent fixture in the UK festival diary.
First held in 2007, Field Day has firmly established itself as London's leading showcase of up-and-coming talent. Attracting over 30,000 per year, the one day festival has featured artisits such as Florence and the Machine, The XX, Metronomy and Beirut.
